2008Holland Corn Festival
Arts & Crafts Invitation
We would like to invite you to apply for participation in
the 2008 Holland Corn Festival Arts & Crafts Show. The date for this year’s event will be Saturday June 21, 2008.
Set up will begin at 6:00 a.m.,
with opening to the public at 9:00 a.m. This year there will be an Arts & Crafts
check-in table on the corner of the 1st National Bank, on the North
West corner of Travis and Austin. The information table will open at 6:00 a.m. and remain open until 9:00 a.m. All venders must check in at the information table to receive
your booth number and location of your booth, and receive a coupon for, 1
free ear of Corn. If you are
going to participate in the Arts & Crafts raffle, please bring your donated
item with you, when you check in. You
will be required to remain set up and open until 4:00
p.m. Since we clean up and
fence off the streets for the dance, you must quickly dismantle and load up
your display by 6:00 p.m. Please do not bring up your car until you are
completely ready to load up.
This year all outside booths will be $35.00 per space and
all inside spaces will be $40.00. In order to assure a reserved space you
MUST have your fee and signed application
postmarked by the deadline date of June
5, 2008. Money
and application must be sent in advance.
We will review all applications to organize a well-balanced show. Once accepted in the show, no refunds will be
given. We ask that you cover your tables
to the floor for a neat professional appearance, which will benefit us all.
The Holland Corn Festival Committee will not be responsible
for any loss, injury, damage or theft. You
will be responsible for everything you need for set up.
Again, this year we will have an Arts & Crafts
Raffle. If you would like to
participate, all you need to do is donate an item from your booth.
Since we have arranged for wide and diverse amounts of publicity
and advertisement, we are expecting huge crowds and hope that you will be
able to join us for a big day of fun.
